The mother of popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, Elsie Evelyn Avemegah has emotionally spoken in a video, detailing how the musician has abandoned her for over a decade now.

A few days ago, a video of a young lady, parading herself as Shatta Wale’s cousin first broke the news to Ghanaians, stating that Shatta Wale despite claiming to be rich has not been taking of his mother for a while.

Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, who is currently seriously ill, is seeking public assistance for medical care as she claims she cannot afford her medical bills noe.

She revealed that, her relationship with her son has been strained so much that he doesn’t care about her farewell or know where she lives.

She emphasized that, the information circulating on social media about her aunt’s condition is true and not exaggerated.

Madam Elsie lamented about how financial frustrations made her become old.

The plea from Shatta Wale’s mother and niece has come as a surprise to many fans and followers of the dancehall artiste, who has frequently portrayed a successful and affluent lifestyle.
